Born and raised in the Peace Region, Lonny, Alberta Birds & Bears founder, grew up with a love for hunting and nature. His experience and passion for the sport allow him to give clients the best possible experience.

As a family-owned and operated business, our goal is to provide a wonderful experience for all ages and levels of hunters.

Lonny has been an avid hunter since he was very young. His deep-rooted connection to nature and hunting practices have shaped the foundation of the family business. With his knowledge and expertise, Lonny strives to make each and every hunt an unforgettable experience.

LONNY FRIESEN

Lonny's wife, Cherisse, is an integral part of their family-owned business. With over fifteen years of experience in customer service and hospitality, Cherisse endeavours to ensure that each and every guest feels welcome, cared for, and provided for during their stay.

CHERISSE FRIESEN

Lonny and Cherisse have three sons, Kobie, Hunter, & Kaiden. Each of them greatly enjoys helping out and providing a great experience for each and every guest. All three boys are also avid hunters and are quickly growing to share their father's love for the sport of hunting.
